YOUR NEW UNIQUE DOBERMAN PUPPY CARE, FEEDING AND TRAINING

Your new Doberman Puppy has arrived, now what?
Preparing Your Home For A New Puppy:
When you bring a new puppy into your home, he needs a private place of his own, a warm bed, and a secure kennel area outside while playing with you and going potty.
A Doberman puppy firmly believes and should be treated like any other new member of the family.
Therefore, you need to think about the changes this new arrival will make to your life. Please bear in mind that for your Doberman puppy, this drastic change in his life - leaving his natural family and moving to a completely new world, often with long and frightening flights with new faces and sounds - will be both exciting and also very stressful. Here are some early steps you can take to ensure the transition is smooth.
Introducing Your Puppy To Members of the Family:
Children will naturally want to play with the new puppy, pick him up and pet him. Doberman puppies at 8 weeks can easily weigh 15 lbs or even more, allowing children to pick him up is dangerous for both the child and your Doberman puppy.
A puppy can be difficult to hold even for adults, don't let them jump out of your arms. One tragic jump from any height taller than your puppy can permanently injure him, a fall from any elevation can seriously damage the vertebra in his neck and spine and unfortunately this damage may not show up for years.
Be sure and provide your new puppy with a place of his own where no one will bother him and where he can relax. But please don't expect a Doberman puppy to want to be left alone and locked away from his humans. A young puppy can not spend 10 hours in a crate at night and then another 10 hours in a crate during the day while you are at work.
This will make a neurotic and difficult Doberman to live with. Please give some thought prior to purchase as to how you will manage a new baby in the house.
Find a warm place, away from drafts, perhaps in the kitchen or living room. Puppies will chew and put everything in their mouth just like a human baby, so you should remember that the material you use to make a bed for your puppy should not be harmful for him if he eats some of it.
Purchase an exercise pen and please don't be afraid to use it!
Although you may think all pet food manufacturers have your pet's best interests in mind, this is not always the case. Current pet food regulations allow manufacturers to use ingredients that you would never knowingly give to your pet. In fact, you may be shocked to learn what some brands of pet food really contain.
Please do NOT feed your Unique Doberman PEAS, Soy, corn or any other GMO foods.

Every meal in a puppy's life is crucial to its overall health! A good quality dog food is very important. Just as important are the Nuvet Nutritional Supplements to ensure that your new puppy is getting the proper micro-nutrients that it's growing body needs.
When you read the nutritional content of a high quality dog food, they emphasize the macro-nutrients which are the proteins, carbohydrates and fats. These are important but how can you be sure that there are adequate micronutrients; i.e. Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Potassium etc.
The bottom line is that there is no way to know for sure that dog food alone is sufficient. That is where Nuvet Nutritional Supplements come into play. They fill the nutritional gaps that exist in even the best dog foods.

WE RECOMMEND KURANDA DOG BEDS FOR YOUR DOBERMAN PINSCHER PUPPY AND DOG
Recommended Large Growth RAW Puppy Food For Doberman Puppies 6 months and up:
Here is a sample menu for your Doberman puppy ~ for this menu we will use a 6 month old 40 pound puppy as the model.
Breakfast:
1 Pound of raw meaty bones (beef, chicken necks, chicken backs, wings but no chicken legs)
1 tsp. Kelp/Alfalfa mix
Salmon Oil
1/2 tsp. Super C powder
1 Vitamin E Soft Gel
NuVet Feline Powder sprinkled over breakfast
Lunch:
8 oz. Ground or chunk muscle meat (hamburger, ground turkey, chicken
hearts and gizzards, beef heart, venison, elk, rabbit, etc.).
1/2 tsp. Super C powder
Dinner:
8 oz. Ground or chunk meat (can use canned salmon, sardines or mackerel instead)
4 Tbls. Veggies (kale, spinach, carrots, squash, green beans, sweet potatoes, celery)
Salmon Oil
1/2 tsp. Super C powder
1 Vitamin E Soft Gel
NuVet Wafers
The key to this diet is to rotate ingredients for variety. Add a raw egg yolk with or without the shell 4-5 days a week. You can also add high calorie yogurt (plain or honey) or 4% fat cottage cheese a couple times a week and 3-4 oz. Chicken, beef, liver, Sardines or kidneys several days a week. Balance the diet over a period of time. Don’t worry if each and every meal is not exact.
If you choose to do both kibble and raw, we recommend feeding raw for one meal and kibble at a separate meal once your puppy is 6 months old, they say that the PH of both is different and they will work best if fed separated, while I don't know this to be factual it can't hurt just to be on the safe side.

Every Doberman puppy for sale at Unique Dobermans has been thoughtfully and carefully planned and considered long before the breeding has taken place. Your new Unique Doberman puppy (if you are so lucky to be chosen as one of our elite Doberman puppy owners) comes with a pedigree sporting German, Russian and European Dobermans full of world champion show dogs plus each one has been worked to at least a BH in Schutzhund, IPO, IGP, Family Personal Protection dogs, Therapy dogs, French Ring sports and competitions. What do all of these Doberman working titles and Doberman show titles actually mean to you as a "pet owner" that doesn't plan on showing or titling your Doberman puppy? EVERYTHING! Your new Doberman Puppy's parents have passed strict temperament testing, tracking trials to test their nose and scent capabilities and personal protection courage testing of their character and most importantly their nerves.
The genetics behind your Unique Doberman puppy shows that his genes are free of hip dysplasia, eye diseases, bad temperament and poor conformation.
A Doberman dog that cannot hold up to the extreme athleticism that is required to obtain working titles is a poorly conformed dog and will break down, a Doberman dog that is not readily and willing to immediately obey with a strong desire to please it's master is not a pleasant Doberman to live with inside the home and certainly will never be able to obtain these working titles.
If you have been looking for the best Doberman Family Guard Dogs, with a World Champion pedigree, Schutzhund, IPO, IGP, VPG and ZTP Working Titles in Personal Protection, Tracking, Obedience and Agility with Beauty and Brawn to match then give us a call, text, email.
